The Dosa Shul

The Dosa Shul held morning prayers and  Daf Yomi learning session every morning this year, faced a very difficult and challenging time during the May riots in Lod.

Twenty years ago, this shul was burned and destroyed by Arabs. In the May riots, an attempt was made again to burn this shul.

The front of the building and the palm trees were burned and damaged.

The Dosa Shul was the first place after the May riots that was renovated and expanded immediately after the arson attempt.

Dozens of people arrived from around the country and renovated and expanded the shul.

It became a symbol of the partnership of the people of Israel together with the Jewish community in Lod.
