“Merhav Halev” Home for Young Girls

Merhav Halev is a home for at risk girls who are residents of the city from a variety of sectors, providing them with a safe haven and therapeutic interventions.

To help these young woman escape their at-risk milieu and integrating them into a normative life, we have recently started an innovative employment preparation program providing practical group and personal tools to help them integrate into the workforce that suits their skills, giving them a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

The mentor program – This program involves women volunteers from the various communities in Lod. The mentors work throughout the year in building a personal relationship with the girls to help them reach their full potential and use their passion and dreams to help these young women make things happen.
