Neve Zayit

Neve Zayit is the founding neighborhood in the center of the city, where the first Lodaim community was established 20 years ago.

Neve Zayit is a mixed neighborhood, with both religious and non-religious Jews living side by side.

There is a community garden and a musical ensemble that is regularly active in the nursing home in the neighborhood.

The shabbat table project – together with “Gmach Lod” a non-profit foundation, every Shabbat there is a big shabbat meal in which a family from the community hosts over 35 needy or lonely people who have no family and share and celebrate a shabbat meal with them.
